One of the most traditional medicine for cold is "haladi doodh" i.e. ''turmeric milk". "Haladi" means turmeric and doodh means milk. Turmeric milk is the most popular, well-known remedy used in India for cold and cough.

  • Take one glass of milk.
  • Boil it.
  • Then put 1 or 2 teaspoons of turmeric powder in it.
  • Put some sugar, if you want. (optional: only to add taste)

Drink this turmeric milk every night before going to bed. Try to drink it when its hot.

Turmeric has great healing properties. It regulates the proper growth of White Blood Cells, and strengthens immune system which in turn causes normal health.
